ANECHOIC TEST CHAMBERS

We design, manufacture, install and certify RF anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers. All chambers use either pyramidal or ferrite tile absorber or a combination of both as a hybrid absorber.

Our shielding expertise combined with the properly designed electromagnetic absorbing material provides test chambers which meet the required absorption of all international test requirements for radiated immunity and emission requirements.

All test chambers are constructed with our unique modular pan room system. The modular pan room design eliminates the need of wood core support and exterior and interior bracing. Our modular galvanized pans are easily bolted together to from a structurally sound "I" beam configuration. All seams and joints are gaskets using corrosion free RF material manufactured by GPS EMI Shielded Products division. In addition, the pan flanges act as a waveguide and provides a surface for easily mounting or demounting absorber material.

ANECHOIC CHAMBER FEATURES AND BENEFITS
  • Completely modular, economic design for semi anechoic and fully anechoic applications.
  • Pyramid absorber are the most widely used material for IEC1000-4-3 and MIL-STD461D/462D immunity testing (at 80 MHZ) and fully compliant ANSI C63.4 emission testing.
  • Hybrid version combined with ferrite tile extends test frequency from 30 MHz to above 19 GHz meet all radiate immunity and emissions requirements.
FERRITE CHAMBER FEATURES AND BENEFITS
  • Compact, completely modular and self-supporting.
  • Low frequency absorption down to 30 MHz.
  • Provides ANSI C63.4 pre-scan radiated emission pre-scan testing plus compliance to IEC 100-4-3 and MIL-STD 461D/462D radiated immunity testing.

Aircraft Aperture Doors

The T-Tail and extra large aircraft currently in service around the world require a unique solution to maintenance hangar design.  These aircraft require a maximum height capacity to fit all the aircraft within the hangar.  This requirement creates a very large building envelope, and this drives the price.  But what if you do not need to fit the entire aircraft into the hangar?  What if the tallest part of the aircraft could be left outside?  This allows for a much smaller hangar, which equates to less expensive construction and operation of the facility.

C-17 Aperture Door, Seal Deflated

An aperture door system is required to seal the hangar from weather and unwanted visitors.  The apertures can be built within the main doors, or added on as a seperate door mounted to the face of the main doors.  The aperture seals can be fixed foam or can be inflatable.  Aperture doors can be configured for one specific aircraft alignment, or can be movable vertically and horiontally to accomodate many aircraft positions.  Multiple doors can be utilized to accomodate several different aircraft types within one hangar.

GPS Specialty Doors has installed many Aircraft Aperture Door systems.
