ANECHOIC AND RF/EMI SHIELDED DOORS GPS Specialty Doors is a world leader in providing door solutions to the world’s most complex shielding problems.  GPS has designed, fabricated and installed large scale anechoic chamber doors that meet or exceed performance level of 100dB at up to 100 GHz.   Shown at right and below is a bi-parting shielded anechoic chamber door installed for a leading research university at USAF base near Boston.  The doors cover a 16’ wide by 30’ high opening in the main anechoic chamber.  The doors bi-part at the center and slide to each side, minimizing the amount of wall space required to accommodate the doors.    Doors are sealed to each other at the center line via continuous rows of BeCu fingers that mate from one leaf to the other.  Doors are sealed to the chamber via inflatable bladders that compress EMI gasketing into the RF surface of the door.
