These
photos of Motor Operated Roof Hatches show both open and close positions of "Light Tight" hatches. Each group of four hatches
is tandem coupled to act as a unit. The units are remotely controlled and can be adjusted to suit the light conditions as
required by the stage performance. Many types and designs of large or small hatches are available.

Aircraft Hush House Retrofit – MCAS, Miramar, California
This
original installation had the hydraulic operated power units mounted under the door base. The service to the drive units was
through an underground tunnel and very awkward to access. The new retrofit allows all service work to the drive at a convenient,
above floor height.
